Passports:
U.S. Citizens do not require a passport to enter Canada, but proof of citizenship should be carried. There is no duty on personal effects and sporting outfits. A list of the serial number of your guns, cameras, etc.will save you time at the border. (REMINDER: If you have ever been charged with OUI in the U.S., you could be refused entry into Canada, even if you are not driving.)
